PWM strictly forbids using client information for purposes other than what is permitted by law and necessary for client service. This information comes either directly from you (i.e. from personal interviews, trust agreements, tax filings, or account opening documents and transactions on your account) or it may come from an outside source such as Lexis Nexus or Dun & Bradstreet reporting service.
Because some of the information we gather is not publicly available, we take great care to ensure that this information is kept safe from unauthorized access. We will not share the information in violation of any regulation or law. Perigon diligently maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable federal standards with the intent to guard your private personal information and to prevent unauthorized access to that information.
How we share information with companies affiliated with us
From time to time we share certain information with our affiliated companies, for general business purposes such as fraud control or when it may benefit you. We never share information with our affiliated companies that is prohibited by applicable law. These affiliated companies all provide financial services such as investment management, wealth management, or products related to the financial service. The information we share may include, but is not limited to, your account history, your name, address, telephone number, social security number and e-mail address.
How we share information with non-affiliated third parties
From time to time we may provide information to non-affiliated third parties that perform operational, tax, trustee, or custodial services related to your account. The sharing of information with these types of third parties is permitted by law. We will not share any information with any other financial service providers (such as mortgage bankers or insurance agents) or to non-financial companies (such as retailers or marketing companies) without obtaining your express permission.
